Phoenix
No biking today, but by far the longest day of the trip. After a bit of a sleepless night, started off the day with a couple of 7 am press interviews, then a high school classroom presentation on distracted driving. Had lunch with Rep Steve Farley, who has been trying to pass a bill restricting cell use in Arizona for 4 years. Big press conference with a room full of camera and media followed. Ended the morning on the legislature floor meeting some key swing votes regarding the cell bills. Looking forward to good snoozes tonight. Tomorrow, back on the bike!

Dr.Bob,
ReplyDeleteThe countless ways in which you are making an impact is amazing. God Bless you today, as you ride may you be filled with peace and strength.
Hi Bob,
ReplyDeleteI've been following you along with all these other people. I like your words of introspection, though I know they can be difficult words. I agree that most of the time it takes adversities to happen to us to force us to look inside. When things are going good we are not searching.
Praying for you!
What an exhausting but powerful day you had in Phoenix. I'm praying for you and know that you are making a difference. I look forward to reading your posts and am amazed at your long days of riding. God is right there beside you like the wind, unseen but felt in the still, quiet moments. "Be still, and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10
